Reception: Club Macquarie, Argenton
The day Elana and Damien had chosen to get married looked to be a beautiful clear spring day. After preparations, the service was held on the water's edge of Cockle Creek in magnificent sunshine. At the end of the service you would not have thought it was the same day, the weather was about to take a turn for the worst, right at the time we wanted to be outside for photos.
With the service over and a big storm looming, we hurried down to the first photo location. At the abandoned service station (see below), we took some fantastic photos with the storm closing in. With one location complete and rain starting to come down, we moved to the second location. On our way there we were hit by the storm front and we all thought out photo time was going to be cut short. Once arriving at Valentine Boardwalk, the weather cleared giving us more time for photos. The timing could not have been any better and ended up being only a precursor to the great night ahead. As always, comments welcome.

Reception: Maitland Golf Club, East Maitland
Garden weddings are a great location for wedding photos, but when you choose a botanic gardens our wedding the opportunities for photos are almost endless. Kacey and Brenden were married in the Hunter Valley Botanic Gardens at Heatherbrae on a day that was perfect for a wedding, and for photos. The Gardens give a wide variety of photo opportunities including the catcus garden which is definately something different for wedding photos.
Adding to the fantastic location for the service, we also spent time at the Morpeth Common before heading to Maitland Golf Club for the reception. The Common is a beautiful location for photos, especially when the groomsmen are prepared to climb to great heights for a photo opportunity (see photo below). As always, comments welcome.

The weather on the day was not favourable, so the service was moved to the balcony of Crowdy Head Surf Club. Although the service was held outside as planned, the view was magnificent right over the beach where it was originally to be held.We were very lucky with the weather for the location photos, with rain holding off for some beautiful shots to be taken throughout the afternoon. More importantly, with a large verandah hosting the reception, the night was enjoyed without any rain. As always, comments welcome.
