Album Design - Michelle and Matthew

Most of the wedding packages we offer include a flush mount album, or sometime called a magazine style album. I don't like to use the term magazine style as this indicates the album has thin pages, which is not the case. These albums have 2mm pages, making them quite sturdy and the pages are covered in a UV Laminate to protect them. They are a wonderful way to showcase wedding photos.

Below is the design of our latest album delivery, for Michelle and Matthew, a wedding which we thoroughly enjoyed capturing. The wedding was held at Sandhurst House, Merewether and the photos were take on and around the beaches at Newcastle, before we headed to Noah's on the Beach for the reception.

Wedding Preview - Kacey and Luke

This wedding has special meaning for us, Kacey is Nathan's sister. Although Nathan did not photograph the wedding (apart from a few shots where he couldn't help himself), it was still covered by other members of the Pure Moments Team, Danny and Gary. The weather was sensational and we had plenty of time for photos before the reception, enough time for Luke to even give us a few smiles...!!!

The service was at Shepherds Hill in Newcastle while the reception was at Northville Lodge. Below are some samples from the day, comments welcome.

Wedding Preview - Amy and Paul

Amy and Paul were married on 18th October 2008. We had a great time with them on the day, they made our job so much easier as they were very relaxed and it showed in their photos. They had a church service in St Patricks Lochinvar, followed by a reception at Pokolbin Community Hall. Photos in between were on Amy's parents property and amongst the vineyards. Below are a few photos from the day. As always, comments welcome.

Expos - Spring at City Hall

We have just completed our final two expos for the year, Spring at City Hall in Newcastle and the North Shore Wedding Expo in Hornsby. It was great to meet everyone from both Expos... and we are not just saying that. We have had a great response from prospective couples who met us over the two days, some have already met and booked with us since. There are some absolutely amazing weddings being planned and we hope to catch up with a lot of you again over the next few weeks as you finalise your preferred suppliers.

Below are the photos we used as our main focus for the two expos.

Maternity - Sarah and Dean

When we first discussed doing a maternity session with Sarah and Dean, Sarah was excited by the idea and was curious about what we would do. Dean on the other hand was more apprehensive about what to expect. We split the evening into two sessions with a break in the middle. Both Sarah and Dean were beginning to relax towards the end of the first session, and it began to show in some of the more "adventurous" photos. For the second half, we worked with just Sarah to create some spectacular images that we are sure will be treasured forever.

We enjoyed working with you guys, thank you for being patient with us as we planned our way through the next scene. I know they went into the night unsure of what to expect, however I know the results will speak for themselves.

Again, we welcome feedback on any of our photos.

Portraits - Ryan Joshua

Our first photo post is a personal one. Although we offer a portrait service, this one is a little more special for us. Ryan Joshua is part of the Pure Moments Photography Team, even though he is only 7 months old. On Father's Day this year he was put into the studio for some photos, and in typical Ryan style he smiled the whole way through. Below are some samples from the session, we would love some feedback or comments.
